Provide "Reasonable Assurance" of public protection from radiation hazards associated with radiological emergencies.

Goals:

Maintain the Louisiana Peacetime Radiological Response Plan and operating procedures.

Maintain adequately trained radiological emergency response personnel through education, training, and drills and exercises.

Maintain equipment and on-call personnel for 24-hour response capabilities.
